Grants

Our grants touch the lives of thousands of people each year.

Since 1963, AAACF has been an agent for positive change  - awarding
more than $23 million in grants and scholarships.  We have helped create
real change in many areas - education, affordable housing and homelessness,
health and human services, the arts, the environment, economic renewal,
youth and senior programs. 

The Community Foundation awards competitive grants through

Eligibility:

AAACF welcomes grant applications from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations whose programs and services benefit the people of Washtenaw County.

Organizations that apply for AAACF funding must conduct business without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, national origin, or any other characteristic protected by law.
