The Philanthropic Advisor – Major Gifts is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Director of Philanthropy – Donor Services. This role is responsible for cultivating and securing significant outright gifts and managing complex non-cash contributions such as real estate, closely held stock, and other unique assets. The Advisor provides technical expertise in gift acceptance and compliance, while building strong relationships with donors to inspire transformational giving. This position also supervises the Event Planner, who designs and executes donor cultivation and recognition events.

The Grants Coordinator is responsible for the management of the grant-making administration of the AAACF. This process includes creating competitive applications and their processes, shepherding grants from proposal to payment declination and closure. To be effective in this position, the Grants Coordinator must work collaboratively across multiple departments and constituents, demonstrating a deep understanding of the needs of grantees, donors and other stakeholders and ensuring that those perspectives are incorporated in the grant-making process. The Grants Coordinator is accountable for the accuracy of all grant data reported internally or externally for the Foundation and its supporting organizations.
