Passionate about the service and quality of life of others, while believing charity starts at home, is at the heart of everything that she does. Sonyita Clemons brings over 20 years of service, commitment, and practical application to the nonprofit sector and a plethora of certifications and experiences to her role at AAACF.
Sonyita has served in varying capacities across the nonprofit community, including roles with the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, The Power Initiative, Carriage Town Ministries, and consulting for the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. She has most recently led the Total Life Prosperity CDC as Executive Director. Sonyita has worked to build health and wellness, financial self-sufficiency, and neighborhood stabilization with economic development into everything that she does. Sonyita is committed to individual and community transformation through education, training, and empowerment in the nonprofit sector and beyond.
