Shelley received a grant from Creative Washtenaw a few years ago, with funds originating from AAACF and has been personally impacted by the Foundation’s work. She says “I’m happy to be part of that coming full circle. I look forward to supporting the operations at AAACF, in hopes that my work will be part of a positive impact on someone else in the community.”

Shelley is a talented performing artist (multi-instrumentalist and singer) and has had a few special local shows with her band Jive Colossus, including performances at Ann Arbor Summer Festival (Top of the Park). She also designs and makes jewelry, spends her spare time dancing, traveling, and hanging out with her lovebird.
