Community Investment Officer, Community Investment

Chloe Updegraff

Chloe’s work making impacts in communities began in rural Haiti where, as an undergraduate student, she founded a malnutrition prevention program that sought to bring severely malnourished children into a healthy growth and weight. These initial months in Haiti led to the desire to make impacts in broader community health and to work with communities to make long-term, sustainable changes. That passion brought Chloe to the University of Michigan where she earned her Master’s Degree in Public Health.
With over 10 years of experience overseeing community health programs and grants, Chloe brings a background of making impacts in diverse communities, from Haiti, to Tribal populations in Michigan, to rural New England. In each community, Chloe works collaboratively with partner organizations to drive positive change and improve health outcomes for all populations.
In addition to improving community health, Chloe is a passionate basketball, lacrosse, and soccer player and coach, coaching multiple age groups and bringing a positive and supportive mentality to youth sports.

What is your favorite thing to do in Washtenaw County?
Watching the Wolverines on the field (football, soccer, lacrosse) and on the court! Go Blue! I also love my time at the gym, getting outdoors with my family (mountain biking, camping, paddleboarding), and volunteering at the humane society!

What can I help you with?
