AAACF is pleased to announce a new grant program
focusing on senior needs in our community!

Glacier Hills Legacy Fund "Golden Opportunities" Grant Program: The Glacier Hills Legacy Fund (GHLF) Advisory Committee at the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation (AAACF) recognizes that there are long standing inequities that exist for many older adults and caregivers in Washtenaw County. While solutions to many inequities require deep investments into systems level changes, the GHLF Committee sees value in targeted solutions that provide a more immediate patch in services to reduce inequities.

As a part of the AAACF’s core values and for this grant program, we define equity as “providing different levels of support based on an individual’s or group’s needs to achieve fair outcomes and to support their ability to live a healthy and fulfilling life”.

The Glacier Hills Legacy Fund Golden Opportunities Grant Program is a rolling grant program, meaning it will remain open until all funds have been deployed. Organizations may submit an idea at any time.

Please note that while staff reads and reviews every submission, not all submissions will receive follow up and/or feedback.

Grant Program Details:

• Grant award sizes will generally range from $10,000-$50,000.
• Grant award timelines will range from 1-3 years of investment depending upon the scope and scale of the project.
• Up to $200,000 is available to be awarded through this process on an annual basis.

Process Overview:

1. To be considered for funding, please complete this form regarding your proposed program. 
2. While staff will review every submission, not all submissions will receive follow and/or feedback.
3. Submissions will be accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis. There is no "deadline" or due date for this program. The form will remain open so long as there are grant funds available to be distributed.
4. If your organization's submission advances, you will be contacted by staff and asked to submit a full application.
