Now Accepting Grant Applications

AAACF is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications!

Available Grant Programs Include:

Dedicated Grant Program: This new grant program is comprised of numerous Field of Interest Funds with an array of funding priorities, each Fund has its own dedicated purpose.  We will distribute over $43,000 in competitive grants to local nonprofits delivering program and services in Washtenaw County aligned with the Fund’s purpose. 

All interested applicants must attend an Information Session to learn about the Dedicated Grant Program prior to applying. Information Sessions will be held at AAACF at 301 N. Main St., Suite 300 on the follow dates:

  • Information Session #1: May 22nd from 10:00am-11:00am.
  • Information Session #2: June 19th from 2:00pm-3:00pm.
  • Information Session #3: July 24th from 3:00pm-4:00pm.

Community Grantmaking Program: Based on national best practices and local nonprofit input, the Community Foundation is offering General Operating Support grants to support the mission, activities, and community impact of the local nonprofit sector. We will distribute $230,000 in competitive grants to local nonprofits delivering programs and services in Washtenaw County. Each grantee will receive a two-year grant award, $15,000 per year, pending Year 1 performance and results are achieved.

All interested applicants must attend an Information Session to learn about the Community Grantmaking Program prior to applying. Information Sessions will be held at the AAACF at 301 N. Main St., Suite 300 on the follow dates:

  • Information Session #1: May 31st from 10:00am-11:00am.
  • Information Session #2: July 17th from 2:00pm-3:00pm.
  • Information Session #3: August 15th from 3:00pm-4:00pm.

Application Deadline:  Thursday September 6, 2018

Submit all required narrative sections on the NonProfit Portal by September 6, 2018. If your organization has not registered and received login credentials, you must first complete the Registration Process.

Due to the time it takes to receive login credentials, all organizations must submit their request no later than August 23rd, 2018.
