2021 AAPS Education Fund Grant Program

The Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation is now accepting grant
applications for the Ann Arbor Public Schools Education Fund.

The Ann Arbor Public Schools (AAPS) Education Fund, held under the auspices of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, supports classroom projects that enhance and enrich the learning experience and provide the skills and proficiency required for employment and further education for all students attending Ann Arbor Public Schools.

Who is eligible to apply?

  • AAPS Young 5’s - 12th grade teachers

What is the deadline?

  • November 3, 2021

How much money can be requested?

  • The Ann Arbor Public Schools Education Fund will distribute approximately $10,000 total in
    competitive grants
  • Grant requests of up to $2,000 will be accepted

What program/project categories are the focus of the grant cycle?

  • All programs/projects should address/involve one or more of the following:
    • Literacy
    • Science & Tech
    • The Arts
    • Mental Health
    • COVID
    • DEI
  • Priority consideration will be given to programs/projects which involve collaborating with other
    classes, schools, and/or nonprofits and to Title 1 Schools
