Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation

Ypsilanti Area Community Fund

Established in 2001, the Ypsilanti Area Community Fund (YACF) is dedicated to building a permanent endowment to enrich the quality of life in the greater Ypsilanti  area.
All gifts to YACF remain in the Ypsilanti community.
For good.  For ever.

YACF is a geographic affiliate fund of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundaton and  benefits from AAACF's professional program staff, philanthropic, fund management and investment expertise.  Retaining its own local identity, YACF's Advisory Committee makes its own grant decisions to meet the needs of Ypsilanti's community.

Since its founding, YACF has awarded nearly $465,000 in grants to support community programs and initiatives that benefit the greater Ypsilanti area.

YACF's Advisory Committee includes 15 community leaders who direct YACF's grant support, and give their time to support YACF's growth and long-term success.

The Ypsilanti Area Community Fund has received more than $1 million in gifts and welcomed 23 named funds to benefit the Ypsilanti area.

More than 130 community members have joined YACF's 1825 Founder's Society  - to help build YACF's grant capacity and make a positive difference in Ypsilanti's future.
