Since 2006, Youth Council has awarded the Friend of Youth Philanthropy Award to recognize a local community member whose philanthropic support and efforts have changed the lives of young people in our community.

In 2011, the Ann Arbor YMCA was honored for its continued support in hosting Youth Council meetings and its Youth Volunteer Corps.
