Established in 2001, this fund awarded grants for the first time in 2002. The Ypsilanti Area Community Fund is a geographic affiliate fund of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation to serve residents of the Ypsilanti area. The Fund is a permanent endowment established to support programs, events and projects in the greater Ypsilanti area. While maintaining its own identity, the Ypsilanti Area Community Fund benefits from the professional staff, fund management and investment expertise of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation.
