We partner with local community leaders from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to seek innovative and effective solutions to community-wide issues.
Two strategic priorities currently guide AAACF’s investments in our community's well-being, its People & Place:
Investing in People:
- Through Coordinated Funding AAACF works with five local funding partners to take a collective approach to addressing the needs of Washtenaw County's most vulnerable residents.
Investing in Place:
- Through Cultural Economic Development, AAACF has embarked on a three- part strategy to strengthen our local arts & culture sector in ways that promote economic prosperity and community vibrancy. We recognize that investing in and strengthening the nonprofit arts & culture sector contributes to the quality of life in our community and plays an important role in helping local businesses recruit and retain top talent.
