The continued generosity of our donors makes our work possible.

As a community foundation, we receive broad public support. 
Each year we receive gifts from more than 1,500 community members who share our commitment to improving lives and strengthening our community.  Donors can establish a new fund, include AAACF in their estate plans, or contribute annually to help build our community's endowment.

In 2010, the Community Foundation received $8.3 million in gifts from more than 1,550 donors.  For a list of 2010 Donors.

AAACF Donor Societies recognize donors who have extended special support to the Community Foundation:

In 2009, the Community Foundation celebrated the overwhelming success of a six-year development initiative to build AAACF's grantmaking capacity. Through Fund the Future, AAACF received more than $37.7 million in gifts over six years: 

• $17.3 million in current gifts and pledges which more than doubled AAACF's grant capacity, and
• $20.4 million in planned legacy gifts which ensure AAACF's endowment will continue to grow to provide for future possibilities.
