AAACF is accepting applications for its Fall Grant Deadline. 
The Deadline is Tuesday, September 27, 2011.

Funding will be available through six grant programs:

1.Coordinated Funding
On behalf of the Washtenaw Coordinated Funders - a collaborative among the Office of Community Development (representing the City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, and Washtenaw Urban County), the United Way of Washtenaw County and the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation (AAACF) – AAACF and the United Way will collectively distribute capacity-building grants to Washtenaw County nonprofits that enhance the long-term effectiveness and sustainability of the local human service system in the following areas: aging, early childhood, housing, hunger relief, safety net health, and school-aged youth.

2. Youth Council
The Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation’s Youth Council awards grants to nonprofit organizations and programs that serve youth in Washtenaw County.

3. Anna Botsford Bach Fund for Seniors
The Anna Botfsord Bach Fund awards grants to local nonprofit organizations and programs that improve the quality of life for seniors. Funding priority and consideration is given to programs that specifically support caregivers and caregiving.

4. African American Endowment Fund
The African American Endowment Fund awards grants to organizations and programs that improve the physical, economic, social and educational conditions that affect the quality of life for African Americans in the Ann Arbor area.

5. Ypsilanti Area Community Fund
Funding is available to support organizations and programs that benefit the residents of the greater Ypsilanti area.

6. Community Foundation of Plymouth
Funding is available to support organizations and programs that benefit the residents of the greater Plymouth area.
