Endowment Fund
This Fund
provides grants to programs designed to improve the health
of young people and seniors on Washtenaw County.
Suggested grant request is in the $2,000-$5,000 range.
Funding
Priorities
Because the Fund has been
established using a portion of the State of Michigan's
Tobacco Settlement funds, grants are provided to smoking
cessation and prevention programs for young people (under
18) and/or seniors (over 65)
What is Not Funded
The Healthy Youth-Healthy Seniors
Endowment Fund does not
typically award grants for:

construction projects (new building or routine
maintenance)

annual giving campaigns

normal operating expenses (except for start-up purposes)

fundraising events

religious or sectarian purposes

computer hardware equipment
