Community Foundation of Plymouth

The Community Foundation of Plymouth (CFP) was established in 2005 and awarded its first competitive grants in 2008.

Grant Deadline:  CFP will be accepting grant applications Fall, 2010.

 

Funding Priorities

Funding is provided for organizations and programs serving the 48170 zip code. CFP's 2010 grant support will be focused on helping local nonprofits preserve essential programs and services that the Plymouth community values.
The highest priority will be given to:

  • Bridge funding and/or general operating costs to maintain essential programs through a transition period

  • Capacity Building for one-time projects focused on improving the long-term strength and viability of the organizations:  e.g., consulting, technology, marketing materials, accreditation, et al.

  • Collaboration - efforts by two or more organizations to address community issues more effectively.

What is Not Funded

CFP does not typically award grants for:

  • annual giving campaigns

  • fundraising events

  • religious or sectarian purposes

  • individuals

  • partisan political purposes

  • loans

  • re-granting
