Anna Botsford Bach Fund for Seniors

This fund for seniors was established in 2003 with assets from the closure of the Anna Botsford Bach Home.

Funding Priorities

The purpose of the Anna Botsford Bach Fund for Seniors is to support needs of the elderly in Washtenaw County  with primary consideration given to charitable organizations and/or programs in the Ann Arbor area.  Highest priority for funding is given to programs that support caregivers.

What is Not Funded

The Anna Botsford Bach Fund for Seniors does not typically award grants for:

• construction projects (new building or routine maintenance)

• annual giving campaigns

• normal operating expenses (except for start-up purposes)

• fundraising events

• religious or sectarian purposes

• computer hardware equipment

• individuals

• partisan political purposes

• loans

• re-granting
